Problem Note 43437: Date values selected from the calendar pop-up might be ignored when the SAS® Stored Process is executed from a Web browser
When a SAS® Stored Process contains a "Date" type parameter prompt, any selection made from the calendar pop–up is ignored if the "SAS variable name" specified for the parameter is also a special javascript keyword. Using a date parameter name of "start" is one example. A complete list of possible values that could cause this problem is not available, but other examples are documented in SAS Note 18502.
If script debugging has been enabled in the Web browser, an error similar to the following can occur when the date selection is ignored:
Message: 'window.opener.document._propPageForm.undefined' is null or not an object
Line: 305
Char: 3
Code: 0
URI: http://your.server:8080/SASStoredProcess/scripts/dynamicPP_calendar.js
If you encounter a situation where your Date prompt ignores dates that are selected from the calendar pop–up, try changing the "SAS variable name" in the prompt definition to specify a different name for the parameter. If the problem persists after changing the SAS variable name, contact Technical Support.
